The co-creator of DOGE attacks Elon Musk again

Palmer believes Musk is using Dogecoin to engage the community for his own purposes.

In his recent Business Insider interview, Dogecoin co-founder Jackson Palmer said he felt irritated when Elon Musk along with WallStreetBets and SatoshiBets tried to intensely pump the DOGE price inadequately with its current market power. In addition, he intends to stay away from this project and will not change his mind about the memecoin he created.

DOGE continues to stalk Jackson Palmer

In an interview with Insider, Palmer complained about the association of his name with a project he helped create over eight years ago. At first he saw Dogecoin as his "hobby" and an innocent joke - now DOGE becomes a nuisance for him.

- Everything that happened last year around DOGE got on my nerves a lot. I don't think people did it intentionally, but it was irritating to combine my name with subsequent reports of Dogecoin's price being pumped additionally by Musk, Palmer said.

Even after I completely disappeared from social media, the cryptocurrency I created continued to haunt me, he added.

Jackson Palmer also stated that it was no surprise to him when Musk started promoting Dogecoin on Twitter as early as 2019. As it turns out, the billionaire may be a friend of another Dogecoin co-founder, Billy Markus. Musk said he has worked with developers on digital currency in the past and that he supports Dogecoin as he tries to be an ally for "people who aren't rich yet."

In 2021, the CEO of Tesla was one of the biggest supporters of this memecoin - often sharply pushing up the price of Dogecoin with a single tweet. He even revealed plans to launch a cryptocurrency satellite called "Doge-1" to the Moon this year. For the entire cryptocurrency community, it is an obvious reference to the slogan "to the moon".

Palmer believes Musk is cynically using Dogecoin as an instrument to engage the community for its own purposes

- This action is intentional. Look at how many free-speech advocates and right-wingers have become great supporters of the American billionaire. He benefits from it because he is building his army of loyal followers, Palmer told Insider.

War between Musk and Palmer

This is not the first time Palmer has criticized the richest man on the planet. Earlier this year, a Dogecoin co-creator called Musk a "cheat" and accused Tesla's CEO of not being able to run basic code, citing an incident several years ago where the billionaire allegedly did not know how to run the Python script that Palmer sent him . The engineer told Insider that he hadn't had any contact with Musk since then, but the American billionaire repeatedly hit Palmer on Twitter for his biting comments.

In a series of tweets, the Tesla CEO wrote that his children could write better code and accused Palmer of "never writing a single line of Dogecoin code".

- Since then, I consciously have not commented on this topic. I can let them have their fantasies, Palmer said.

- I used to be much more inclined to discuss. Currently, I personally feel that these talks do not bring anything new. My approach is to say what I think and try to be as objective as possible. This is what I believe, accept it or not, but most cryptocurrency projects are doomed to collapse, he added.
